Strapless bras? I wear a 34A-34B but I have pointed breasts. When I wear I bra, I don't want to look like my grandmother so I usually wear the padded bras that already have that curved shape. What kind of strapless bra do I wear that will give me the same results? The one I currently own does not give me enough support, curve, or cleavage.
Thanks so much!

You could try the Victoria's Secret 100 ways bra. It comes with two sets of adjustable/removable straps that you can manipulate to suit all kinds of tops. I love mine. One of the sets of straps is transparent and can hidden easily.
Good luck! |
Strapless Bras? My friend asked me to put this question on yahoo answers because she wants to know more about strapless bras. I couldnt help her much because I dont usually wear strapless - Normally Straps or no bra at all. She is going to a posh dinner and has a strapless dress to wear. She doesnt want to wear no bra for some reason, and she wanted to be re-assured by people that they wont, as she says, 'fall down' or slip down her body. She is quite nervous about it, so she wants to know if she will need a tighter size on the actual number, or if she should go for the same size as she normally does.
Thanks for the help.

| There are a few options she has to work with here. First, she could go to any fabric store and purchase "cups" to tack into the inside of the dress (much like seamstresses do with wedding dresses), she could get a set of those sticky cups (although depending on how big her bust is, that may prove to be more of a burden than anything), she could get one of those cotton strapless bras that have no cup in them at all (it looks like a REALLY small tube top), or she could look for one of those convertible bras where the straps come off and the inside of the bra has a sticky seam that sticks to the skin so it won't fall down (and no it doesn't hurt). |
Strapless bras? whenever i wear a strapless bra i always feel like my boobs are sagging. is this normal? what should i do? |
| Make sure you are in the right size. get professionally sized. Your band is probably too large and not supporting you. Remember, for every band size you go down, go up a cup letter to keep the same cup size. (So if you're in a 34C now, try on a 32D) |
Who sells the best strapless bras for busty girls? I'm nursing and therefore have large breasts. What brand of strapless bras would be best? I've only bought one strapless bra in my lifetime, and it sucked. |
| All my bra's come from Sears, JC Penny's and Avon! |
How many hooks are on your strapless bras? My normal bras have 2-3 hooks but my strapless bras have four. Are there usually more hooks on strapless bras? |
| Normally the number of hooks depend on the size of the bra. Larger bra sizes have more more hooks for support and for the larger band size. More hooks are better, because that means the band height is larger and may have more support than one with less hooks (band height). Make sure you have good boning or support underneath arm, this will help with the support. |
What are good supportive strapless bras? Hi, I hate bra straps and so I was thinking of getting strapless bras. Do you know of any good ones that are still supportive and comfortable. Thanks. |
| Lilyette makes the most supportive strapless bra. It has extra hooks in the back for the best support. |
How can I make my strapless bras stay up? How can I make my strapless bras stay up?
I have like 34 c sized breast and whenever I wear a tube top my strapless bras fall. |
those stupid bras! They have double sided tape, that could work.
Good luck : ) |
What store has really cheap strapless bras? Can you name the store and price (it HAS to be cheap), and in general, are strapless bras uncomfortable? Thanks! |
If you leave in the midwest area (IN, OH, MI, PA, WV), there's a wonderful store called Gabriel Brothers. Best place to get undergarments.
Their stuff can have things wrong with it, so be sure to try it on before you buy it. I've never tried on a defective bra there, though.
Make sure the band that fits around your torso is tight. I don't think they're uncomfortable unless you have to keep pulling it up. That's very uncomfortable. |
How do strapless bras stay up? For prom, my dress is strapless and how unclassy would that be to have bra straps showing under a strapless dress. Well, I was looking at strapless bras and they look like normal bras w/o a strap. Should I just remove my straps for the night or is there something different about them that helps them stay up somehow? |
| There's like a rubber band all the way around the bra so it kinda sticks to your skin. Its kinda cool how it stays up and no you can't just wear a normal bra and hide the straps |
What is the clear gel-like stuff that lines strapless bras? You know, the stuff that they sometimes put in strapless dress bodices or bras to keep them from falling down? Is it some kind of water safe glue? and can I buy it? |
I'm pretty sure it's a type of silicone. I'm not sure if you can buy it, but they sell things similar to keep dresses from falling down, like special tape.
