| Would you dump my boyfriend if he were yours? So I've been dating a guy for almost 4 months now. In general, he is a very loving and attentive guy who wants me to be happy. He's quite affectionate and he's really funny too. He makes me hard boiled eggs every morning because he knows I love them for breakfast and is always concerned about my well being. However, he has a few habits that deeply concern me. One is that he checks out other women...not just a glance, but STARES and even grunts sometimes. He's also very critical of my clothing choices. He'll always tell me not to wear something if he thinks it's ugly or too showy. He encourages me to do the same to him, but I just don't have a critical nature about myself and I've always just been one to accept people as they are. He's also very materialistic. He talks about his designer clothes and his mercedes way too often. The other night he became enraged because he couldn't find a parking space far enough away from "the other morons who will dent my car". We spend an hour a week waiting while he gets his car washed and waxed inside and out. I also got sick one time and lost about 10 pound unintentionally and he kept telling me not to gain back and to "keep the belly away" (I was no where near being overweight to begin with by the way- my body mass index is 21). I tell him his critical comments have impacted my self esteem and he just tells me to "toughen up". I also found out he lied about his age....he told me he was 48 then I saw his license that listed him as age 51...I am 24. He once told me that he had never dated anyone from work before (we are co-workers) then I found a HUGE archive of pictures of him with another co-worker of ours who's my age that he has complained about A LOT and claimed that she was really annoying and ugly. He also has a thing for this one porn star and I found a large collection of pictures and videos of her saved to his computer. I know a lot of people look at porn harmlessly, but the way he seems fixated on this one woman almost makes me feel cheated on. I don't think he's ever been unfaithful to me. He spends almost all his time with me and had made it clear he's not interested in anyone else. I appreciate his loyalty, however I find myself wanting to leave sometimes because of his behaviors. When we go out to eat, its always where he wants. If we watch a movie, it has to be something he picks. He has a quick temper and once when I tried to leave him he held me down and physically wouldn't let me leave his apartment. Part of me feels loved and wanted...another part of me thinks he just wants someone to control. I'm an easy target I'd say. I'm 2,000 miles away from my family in a new city and I don't really have many friends. I started out a really laid back, artsy chick and now I'm finding myself pushed into a life that requires me to be a life sized barbie. I know without him I will be very lonely here and I will struggle with finances dearly. If you were me, what would you do? Would you leave him? |

I have a Core 2 duo and I dont mind spending the time, time to compress them, so that they look 1/4 or less their size and I can put em away |
| You have two options: reencode them, or just live with 7zip. It's highly likely that these videos you have are already very heavily compressed, which is why using additional compression software isn't giving you much gains. Reencoding the videos and losing quality would allow you to get them smaller. |
| History Channel Berlin Wall- Ultralight Flight? I just saw this on TV and am kicking myself for not writing down the names of the three brothers in Berlin- two in the West, one in the East. | Boys....they're so confusing!? Ok, so I've loved the same guy since the first day I met him in 5th grade, and now it's nearly the end of eighth grade. Another thing is that yesterday, or something, while we were on our tour bus, he kept looking at me over his shoulder too. Today my whole class was in Wendy's because we were on our way home from D.C. and I was in line a little bit behind him, maybe four or five people behind, and it was his turn to order food, but he had no clue what he was going to get, so he looked over all the other girls and guys, even the person behind him, his eyes settled on me, and he snapped his finger and gestured in front of him.
